Information, Misinformation, Disinformation And Medical News

The human mind was designed to take in just so much information at any given time; it then begins to shut down. This is known as Information Overload.

Our innate defense mechanism is very simple - we Tune Out, Shut Off, Close Down. No more new data is permitted which is not in accord with what has been previously programmed.

This is true with all of us. Much new information is tuned out if it does not agree with what has already been established, so most new information is simply rejected or serves to reinforce the old program.

Many pharmeceutical marketers understand both information and the human mind. They have successfully programmed most Americans to think of the word “medicine” to mean “drug medicine.” They have invested hundreds of billions of dollars to accomplish that fact. Try turning on a TV channel even for a few minutes and you’ll see what I mean. Drugs are part of our culture, inculcated deep in our brains.

The word “medicine” comes from the Latin word “Medicus” which means healing agent. The pharmaceuticals are only one form of healing agent among many in human history. Herbs, Homeopathics, Chiropractic, Naturopathic are also some examples of different healing agents or healing methods among hundreds of others. How did we get to accept Allopathic Drugs as the medicine?

The patient who willingly accepts the drugs believes what he/she is injecting into their bodies is the good and right thing to do and the doctor prescribing the drug, after many years of conditioning, believes what he/she is doing is right. Few question the theory or the practice of the concept.

The American Medical Association (AMA) was convicted in Federal Court in Chicago on both criminal and civil charges. They were convicted on over 100 charges of criminal conspiracy of attempting to wipe the Chiropractic Profession off the face of the earth. This was one of the longest criminal trials in the history of our country; yet, most established newspapers never even considered it to be news.

The drug crime continues because most people confuse the masking of symptoms with healing. Americans have grown up thinking they have been informed when in effect they have been misinformed, but don’t even know it.

One of the counts the AMA was convicted of was Disinformation. It was proven in Federal Court that this organization had over 100 full-time professionals and over 1000 agents on their payroll whose sole purpose was to dispense disinformation on the Chiropractic Profession.

Now that intelligent people have begun to seek alternative means of health care including chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, nutritionists, and other health care practitioners, and have begun to treat themselves with vitamins, herbs and health foods, the Powers That Be Disinformation Service has been working overtime again to put out negative reports on natural products and treatments.

What is amazing is the establishment press is so quick to write derogatory reports on health products and treatments.

How is this possible? Those same agents on the AMA’s payroll whose sole purpose was to spread disinformation are still around. Some of them work for the establishment press; others simply work underground spreading disinformation on the internet.

Keep in mind there are over 300,000 iatrogentic related deaths each year in the US. That means diseases created by the drug treatment. Compare that to Zero deaths by way of homeopathic remedies; vitamins, herbs, chiropractic, naturopathic medicine, juice therapy, natural foods or naturopathic food medicine.

Action Steps You Can Take Against Medical/Health Disinformation:

1. Keep well-informed. Become well-rounded in your reading. Find other sources for your news rather than relying strictly on the establishment.

2. Shut off the TV- Pull the plug. Allow some time to think.

3. Seek alternative sources - Compare them. Seek both sides of the story; then ask yourself what makes the most sense to you.

4. When you read or hear so-called medical news that knocks natural health treatments, nutrition, vitamins or herbs, ask yourself exactly what is being said? Why is it being said? By whom? What is this person’s motive? How does that stack up with what you know to be true?

5. Realize in your own mind that much of what we call news is put through someone’s filtering system. Medical news would be better called medical propaganda.

6. Understand that the internet is not the Gospel, but just another source of information.

7. Understand that all information, knowledge and news is being presented based on someone’s presupposition, that includes anything I write or anyone else writes. I make no bones about it, I believe in naturopathic medicine as a natural, sensible and practical way of life. I do not believe in drugs or the philosophy behind them.

8. When you read or hear someone knocking vitamins, herbs and natural treatments, remember the words of the Father of Modern Day Medicine, Hypocrites, whose first rule of medicine was “Do the patient no harm.” Keep foremost in mind these facts: no one dies from vitamins, natural foods, herbs, raw juices, chiropractic care, colonics, ozone/hyperbaric oxygen therapy or nutritional care, but 300,000 Americans are killed every year practicing medicine by the book.
